Yang Laboratory
About the Lab
The Yang Laboratory focuses on basic and translational scientific research relevant to pediatric cancers, particularly neuroblastoma, one of the most common and aggressive malignant pediatric solid tumors. The group utilizes novel preclinical models, patient-derived xenografts and functional phosphoproteomics to investigate targetable oncogenic pathways, uncover mechanisms underlying therapeutic resistance and develop novel small-molecule inhibitors or antibody-based therapies. The lab’s ultimate goal is to translate these benchside discoveries into innovative clinical care strategies that improve patient survival and long-term outcomes.
